What kind of tingz can be sold?

Physical things for now.

Most importantly these physical things are unique — there’s some story or history that lies in them. Because if there is, then these personal things become tingz. And your tingz are intrinsically more valuable.

These physical thing typically come in a few categories:

  • Apparel & fashion (sneakers, hoodies, lingerie, etc)
  • Accessories (your epic headbands, iced-out chains, or shades anybody will recognize you by)
  • Gadgets (headsets, keyboards, cameras, calculators, etc)
  • Collectibles & souvenirs (pokemon cards, postcards)
  • More super random stuff you’ll never guess (your bath water or autographed air fryer is even cool)

And no worries — digital things are coming soon.

What kind of tingz can’t be sold?

We have internal controls in place to monitor items for sale and ensure no inappropriate items are sold.

Inappropriate items include people, animals of any size, illegal items, tobacco, alcohol (unless otherwise agreed in writing with Tingz), endangered species, controlled substances (including CBD), dangerous items (such as weapons, explosives or flammables), stolen goods, products that require restrictions/age limits or any items that you do not have permission to sell or ship.

Who chooses the price of the item?

You, as the creator and seller, define the price. This price is the exact amount that will be visible to your buyers.

You have two options in choosing the price based on your sale method:

  • Fixed price (this won’t change unless you change it yourself)
  • Auction starting price (this is the starting bid for your action, and the final price will change based on the conclusion of the auction)
Fees

We don’t charge creators any shipping fees, but we do collect a commission fee from your sale and services provided.

Seller fees are currently as follows:

  • 30% commission on the sold price of an item when it sells
  • 2.9% + .30 cents to cover payment processing

Your earnings equal the sold price of the item minus commission and the payment processing fee.

Shipments

So actually sellers will never ship directly to their fans or buyers and Tingz will take care of the whole shipment process. Creators just need to send their items to the Tingz fulfillment center.
To do so, we send you packing guidelines, a packaging kit (parcel, box, etc) and shipping label to prepare the item for pick up. The kits will typically arrive at your address within 2-3 business days of the confirmed purchase.

As soon as you prepare the item and submit your personalized verification video with the item for your buyer, the delivery person will come to you to pick it up.

Before we send it off to the buyer, we’ll bring the item to our fulfillment center for full inspection and quality control, before we re-pack it and ship it to the buyer.

In other words, we’re making the process as simple as we can for creators and sellers.

Returns

We generally have a no-return policy.

To protect the integrity of the sale and auction process: ALL BIDS ARE BINDING and ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

We may grant a refund to the buyer on an item if:

  • The item was damaged in shipping
  • The item was clearly sent with damage that does not match listing photos
  • The incorrect item was sent to you
  • If you did not receive the personalized authentication video from the seller

Tingz will not refund orders after 30 days of placing the order.

If a refund is necessary, we will work directly with you to recover the buyer’s funds and provide a seamless resolution for both parties.

If buyers have any issues with an order, it is possible that they reach out to you directly via other social media platforms. Payments

Sellers will receive payment 48-72 hours after your item is picked up and passes the inspection. You will receive payment as soon as the verification process is completed and the item is sent to the buyer.

Your earnings equal the sold price of the item minus commission and the payment processing fee.

If it’s been over 72 hours and you have not received your payout after the pick-up, please contact [email protected] with the order confirmation number.

Transmission and security of Payment card details

Tingz follows Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) compliance requirements. When accepting payments, Tingz does so in a PCI compliant manner.

Payment processing is done by Stripe, audited by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.

Tingz never sees (or has access to) card data at all. Stripe does the heavy lifting to protect customers’ card information.
  • Tingz uses recommended Stripe’s payments integrations to collect payment information, which is securely transmitted directly to Stripe without it passing through Tingz’ servers
  • Tingz payment pages are served securely using Transport Layer Security (TLS) so that they make use of HTTPS
  • Tingz reviews and validates its account’s PCI compliance annually
Withdraw funds

You can transfer your funds from your Tingz account to your bank account. Please provide the necessary bank account details within your Accounts page.

For you to receive funds, Tingz uses Stripe to make payouts to your bank account. Payout availability can vary. In most cases, when you start processing payouts, you won’t receive your first payout until 7–14 days after receiving your first successful sale. The first payout may take longer for a number of reasons. Processing subsequent payouts then happens according to Stripe’s payout schedule.
